Old Boots left this review about Arcade

Badged as an haggis and whisky house it’s basically a restaurant but you can sit in and just have a drink either at the counter or at one of the tables if it’s not busy. There are five ordinary kegs on a T-Bar and a solitary hand pump serving a fairly ordinary, weak (3.6%) and overpriced (£7.85) bitter labelled “Haggis Hunter Pale Ale”, no clue as to who brewed it just a claim that it was expertly brewed in Burton, so a Carlsberg beer of some sort. I thought it was Greene King IPA until I read the pump clip. And it came in a bloody handle glass. It’s a bistro style place serving haggis and other mainly Scottish food. There’s a mix of seating but mostly tables and chairs of course, exposed stone walls and board floors are accompanied by an anodyne soundtrack. The top hat lampshades are still there and Quinno’s final comment still applies. Upstairs is a vodka bar apparently.

Bar and restaurant with a pseudo Alba-Greco slant. Main bar is a small room with top hats as lampshades. One ale, a dire Caledonian Flying Scotsman. Made the mistake of eating here (poor forward planning) and it’s fair to say I wouldn’t countenance it again. Give this one a swerve.
