Fairly well described by others I actually found myself visiting this one twice whilst in Dundee. The first occasion was just for a beer and after the disappointment of finding no ale pumps I spotted BrewDog Punk IPA on tap and took my half of that up to the mezzanine floor that is at the back of the pub above the pool table section and this is quite a nice spot, especially as you are fairly close to what looks to be a Victorian wrought Iron conservatory ceiling which, along with the large front glass windows mentioned below does make this quite a light and airy pub despite its length.
Secondly it’s a bit of a sports pub and has seven screens in total dotted about including one on the mezzanine floor level, and is one of those places where when the football is on you cannot miss it. Normally I would give these places a miss but when wanting to actually see the late Saturday premiership game and finding the Phoenix over the road jammed to the point I couldn’t get anywhere near the two screens in that pub I came back to here with the knowledge I couldn’t miss it.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Nether Inn
Traditional-looking pub with relatively large front windows, reasonable lighting in the central bar area and rear extension of some age with some interesting metalwork rather spoilt by a couple of industrial ventilation ducts. This latter area also has a couple of pool tables underneath a small mezzanine. Stonegate menu featuring offerings from 'Aunty Edna's Pie Kitchen'. Disappointingly, there is now no real ale here, and with a dull selection from the keg founts I went for the Belhaven Best (£1.55, half).
