The lounge bar of the hotel located on the first floor, although listed in the 2010 Good Beer Guide the bar downstairs, “Top Joes”, is actually the real ale outlet. Fairly dining oriented it is a long thin room with a further dining area at one end and a karaoke cum eating cum children's play area at the other. The Sunday karaoke looks to be taken seriously with a raised area with spotlights apparently doubling as a stage. Modernly furnished with light wood, ceiling fans and models of aircraft hanging from the ceiling including balloons, Zeppelins, and witches on broomsticks. Keg only beer range including Amstel, 1664, Fosters, Heinekin, Guinness, Strongbow and McEwans 70 and 80 shilling.
