Colin Walker left this review about The Eagle
The Eagle is one of Prestwick’s most traditional pubs. The small frontage of the building is misleading, as the interior seems so large and ever expanding. There is a large fire opposite the bar, but as it was very warm it was not on. The fire made the place very homely. The horseshoe shaped bar serves, John Smiths, Strongbow, Foster’s, Kronenburg and a Cider from New Zealand, although it is brewed in the E.U. called Old Mout. The guest beer is from Caledonian and changes monthly. Caledonian Deuchars IPA was on when I visited. There is a pub quiz on a Sunday. The pub is open 11am to midnight Mon -Thurs; 11am to 1am Fri & Sat; & 12.30pm to midnight on a Sun.
