Formerly the Sundowner Bar, this is a difficult to find pub if you don't know it's there, being located away from the town centre in a largely residential area. It probably once consisted of a separate bar and lounge, but this has now been knocked through to create a medium sized, one room, U-shaped pub around the serving area in the middle. There is a pool table, two dart boards, TVs, a juke box and, unusually, a backgammon table. Being where it is, it's mainly frequented by locals rather than visitors to the town. My pint of Caledonia Best cost me £3.10 and Guinness, Tennent's and Fosters lagers and Magners cider are also on draught.
