Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Ingrams Bar

Comfortable small-town pub, set near the top of a steep hill, with the main bar / dining area at a higher level than the other one housing the pool table that has a separate entrance on the corner of the building and it's own narrow counter. Simply, but tidily, furnished and decorated in both parts. Unusually for the district, cask ale is available from a pair of handpumps, with Norland 'Original' and Greene King 'future brewers' Spring Break (£4.50).

Great little place, plenty of locals to chat to at the bar. The ale was in perfect condition. Dog friendly, and a pool table in the other room. It was a nice night

David Ross left this review about Ingrams Bar

Ingrams is unusual in still having a separate bar and lounge, the latter on a slightly higher level than the former. As the bar was tiny and crowded, I had a pint of McEwan's 80 Shilling, costing £3.20, in the quieter lounge. Guinness, Belhaven Best, Tartan Special, Tennent's lager and Strongbow cider were also available on draught. The lounge is only marginally less basic than the bar and, overall, this is a fairly ordinary pub with little to commend it.
