The Wild Boar is a Belhaven pub with a leaning towards dry sales of traditional pub grub (Burger £7.50). The interior consists of a front seating area that leads to a bar on the right-hand wall. At the rear is more seating and some stairs lead down to ‘overflow seating’ which was roped off during my visit on a recent Monday evening. A couple of plasma screens were displaying adverts for the pub and some background music was playing. A standard and premium keg range was available, the £2.05 I paid for half a Tennents was the most expensive of the day. I found the service to be polite but found the pub to be boring so will not return.
