Fairly unspoilt locals pub close to the stadium which I visited because it features on the CAMRA National Inventory. The main reason for inclusion is the oval-shaped island bar, complemented by dark varnish wood, a couple of jumbo Youngers and McEwans brewery mirrors, dark varnish panelling and a tiled bar perimeter. Otherwise it's a pretty unremarkable affair. No ale, so a slightly tinny half of Tennants sufficed. Lots of Aberdeen FC paraphernalia though the big screen was showing English Prem footy. Punters were very local but left me to my own devices, despite me sticking out like a sore thumb. An ale in decent nick would make this worth the walk but currently it's only really one for pub geeks like me. 5.5
