Weird layout that's ostensibly big but also feels oddly small at the same time, three rooms knocked into one. A fairly basic mish-mash décor-wise with a brand-new ‘made in IKEA’ servery, stone wallpaper and some furnishings having seen better days, as well as a £70 pound budget for wall pictures/signs at the local TK Maxx. Two pumps at the bar with a single cask on, serving up a very impressive pint of Glamorgan Jemima's Pitchfork (NBSS 4). A local then discreetly whizzed a beermat under my pint before it touched the table. Rumbustious but friendly atmosphere. It won’t exactly win awards but as a friendly local serving a very good pint of cask, it’s worth a decent mark. 6.5
