Cask was Proper Job, Hobgoblin Gold and a cider from Lilley's called Fire Dancer. Keg was John Smiths, berries & cherries Old Mount cider, original SB, Amstel, Asahi, Carling, Camden Hells, Neck Oil, Gamma Ray, Peroni, Cruz, Guinness, Inch's cider, Moretti and a Lilley's cider.

Large pub by Penarth station. Right-hand side with its own door akin to a lounge bar, boarded by the entrance apart from a tile skirt along the bar counter, which is along the left-hand side. The raised right-hand side of the lounge is carpeted and regular tables and chairs with a leather banquette along part of the right-hand wall. A large TV was showing recorded footy action from the last weekend. A lot of railway themed prints on the walls. There is a large, paved seating area at the side with patio style basket furniture and some cover at the very back. The public bar on the left-hand side of the venue has a smaller bar counter on the right-hand wall and this side is a long rectangle away from the bar counter, boarded for the most part but some pattered ceramic tiles over towards the left-hand wall. There is a skittles alley down one side and a lot more TV's showing the same recorded footy action and the women's World Cup cricket. There is a pool table and a darting area with a mixture of tall tables and regular tables. Was popular on visit with an after-work crowd.

A very strange-looking building, with a modernised 2-bar interior. The right hand side is a lounge/dining area, while the left is a lounge/sports area with a pool table, TVs and even a skittle alley. Outside there is a patio garden. A fairly swish modern take on a pub but felt well-managed and they showed an interest in their beers, being Rev James and Doom Bar as regulars with a guest, which on this visit was Tenby Harbour MV Enterprise.
