Typical cask and keg offering for a Brains establishment. Cask was Rev James, Brains Mild, Best, SA and SA Gold. Keg was Inch’s cider, San Miguel, Amstel, Peroni, Cruz, berries & cherries old Mount cider, Aspall, Carlsberg, Guinness and Brains Smooth Bitter plus the Barry Island IPA.

Large pub with a paved beer garden out the back. Inside the bar counter is at the centre of the venue with a boarded area around it. Quite a few areas off the main bar area which are all carpeted. The bar area has regular tables and chairs pretty much like the rest of the venue with the odd fabric banquette thrown in for good measure, the other areas off the bar area mainly being used by diners on my visit. There are a few stone fireplaces, and the venue is heavy on beams and quite a bit of bare brick walls. Quite low music and a quite pleasant venue without setting the world on fire.
