Another Brains establishment with five hand pumps offering four Brains bitters of Best, SA, Dark and Rev James plus the Marstons amber bitter. The keg options were Bayside, Peroni, Guinness, Neck Oil, Inch's, Cruz, Carlsberg, Angelo Poretti and the original and dark fruits SB.
This is a large pub typical of the chain in the Cardiff suburbs, a bit out of the way and so you would probably drive here and park in the large car park. Inside it is a mixture of bare boarded, tiled and carpeted in segments. The bar counter is against the back wall opposite the entrance. The area immediately around the bar has regular tables and some fabric banquettes against the inner walls. The walls are quite rough and pointed in parts and in other places are plastered and painted in interesting colours. The venue has low ceilings, and a large part of the venue is turned over to diners apart from the bar area. The TV's here were all turned off and there was a low jazzy soundtrack. Outside not well lit so didn’t espy the outside seating potential.
