Visited 18/06/25. Visited first on 23/01/23 but been back a few times since!
Cask was a single handpump offering TT LL, other handpump was-non dispensing. Keg offering of TR Cali Pale, Madri , Pravha, Asahi, Mahou, Guinness, Aspall, Neck Oil and Peroni.
This is a pleasant venue in Lisvane near Cefn Onn Parc. It is a long rectangular bar, with the bar counter against the rear wall to the right of the entrance. Venue is bare boarded with a tiled skirt around the bar counter. To the left of the entrance is an area with regular tables and chairs around a fire on the left-hand wall. To the right of the entrance there are some tall tables with a crimson red banquette on the wall opposite the entrance serving regular tables and chairs. To the right of the bar counter are some regular tables and chairs then some stairs up to a mezzanine level, nicely decorated with regular tables and chairs. There is plentiful outside seating at the front and rear of the venue, mostly via picnic style benches on a reasonably manicured lawn.

Chain pub right next to the M4 and also next to a large park. This used to be an Ember Inn, but is now some other subsidiary of Mitchells & Butlers.
We made our way to some kind of podium, as requested by signage. The usual "have you booked" was asked. "No" was the usual response. We were then shown to a table in a small and cosy area adjacent to the bar. The pub has a number of seating areas and a nice outdoor space at the front.
Tribute was the solitary real ale, which did not appeal. £5 for a half of beer and a fruit juice seemed a bit excessive. Although the beer was a craft beer from Tiny Rebel (Cali Pale).
Not really much to recommend this pub, which seems to focus very much on dining.
