No cask. Basic keg offering of Guinness, SB original and dark fruits, Brains IPA Smooth and Dark Smooth, San Miguel, Carlsberg, Heineken, Carling.
Pretty basic estate pub in the Caerau area in west Cardiff. Sun trap (today at least) paved area out the front with picnic benches. Inside it is a mirrored L shaped bare boarded venue with the bar counter on the back wall to the left of the entrance. There are a few regular tables and chairs opposite the bar counter with a couple of fruit machines on the left-hand wall. The longer part of the venue to the right of the bar counter houses a pool table, much in demand on my visit and a wall mounted juke box. To the right of the entrance is a walk through to a skittles alley also housing a couple of dart boards. The music was loud in here but rather banging! Got here just as local workers (definitely not office types) were knocking off and settling into their post work lagers which made for a pretty lively atmosphere.
