Large GK pub, essentially a long rectangle from entrance to back with a beer garden, partially covered, with grass and picnic tables. Seating in different areas with what seems like recently re-upholstered leather banquettes, venue carpeted but with a wood floor along the length of the bar which stretches along the left-hand wall for quite a bit of the pub. Quite a few TV's showing Olympics and beyond the bar off to the right-hand side of the venue were two dart boards, and a large screen, area quiet on my attendance but set up for big sporting occasions. Ceilings and walls adorned with flags of many nations.
Cask was GK offerings of Abbot & IPA. Keg majored on lagers (Madri, Peroni, Coors, Carling, Carlsberg & San Miguel), ciders (SB original, Thatchers Gold and some of their Flavoured versions) with then Guinness and the keg version of their IPA.
Quite busy on my attendance in the front part of the venue, generally groups of local workers, and the venue had a very pleasant ambiance. Saying that it is a GK city suburb venue so can’t expect too much.
