This small town centre boozer is a basic one room bar, with a back room leading to the toilets. Here there is a pool table, the "background" music from the juke box is cranked up to top volume and the atmosphere is more like a youth club, though I must emphasise that there was no underage consumption of alcohol.

In the front room there is a long bar counter with a couple of hand pumps. Purple Moose Cwrw Eryri (Snowdonia Ale) and Fullers ESB were the beers on offer at the time of my visit. There's a nice informal feel that would go down well with ex-hippies, though the clientèle were discernibly different to the Old Mill. There's a sort of stage in the front window with a drum kit set up (on Saturday when I was here), and I imagine it would have become pretty noisy later.
