This Grade II listed building has been closed for some time, but work seems to have commenced on a refurbishment. The scaffolding that covered most of the front has been there since January, according to a notice I saw attached. There are some recent reviews on Trip Adviser, with responses from Paymán Club, owner of The Knighton Hotel, so it seems there must be access to rooms. Looking through a window that is not presently shrouded I could see what appeared to be a coffee bar of sorts. No information that I could find on when (or whether) there is likely to be a bar and restaurant again.
