Large, sprawling community pub on the main route into town. We noticed it on arrival and thought we'd pop in later in the week. St Austell House and Proper Job in fine condition. Three rooms - comfy sofas and a log burner on the way to the loos - unoccupied until we took advantage. A games room with pool and darts. A main room, where everyone is, hosting the football.
Some incredibly refreshed people in there for the first Sunday of the new year :-)
