Definitely more down to earth than the Jolly Sailor over the road.
Popped in for a quick pre-meal pint, making a pub crawl of the evening. Large interior with central bar serving two rooms.
Brains SA in good nick.

This pub is no longer worth visiting for a night out. The people who have it now alienated most of the regulars in the first few weeks after they took over. They seem to treat drinkers as an inconvenience - a strange attitude when you're running a pub, which they've never done before. By god, it shows!
