I passed the building this afternoon and it appears to have been reinvented as a Gurkha restaurant (which are all the rage in South Wales recently). There was no indication it's still trading as a pub. Further investigations to follow.

This is an unspoilt local treasure! Lots of good beers in a superbly refurbished local inn. This is a tavern with a true community spirit. Plenty of room to talk and mix, or to sit quietly and enjoy the ambience. But this still has a local feel you can walk in and feel part of it after your first drink. The welcome is warm and you feel that you are valued whether passsing through or part of the local scene! To compliment the excellent drink range there is now an excellent range of food.
Good parking is available but arrive early to ensure you get a space to enjoy this excellent venue!
