A detached pub and hotel, with patio area. The building looks like a former Georgian coaching inn, and is in white render with black paintwork. There are sympathetic modern sash replacements and what looks like a Victorian iron canopy over the entrance. The interior has an L-shaped room, which is in white and wood, with a wood floor and a white and fake beam ceiling. There is a pool table, a dart board, a punchbag machine - as well as a sofa area too. The TV wasnt on and the background music was loud, and a band were setting-up to play in the corner. There are music pictures on the walls. The service was fine and the it was quite busy with locals. Beer; usual tap stuff with a decent Pixie Brewery's Tidy Bitter on handpill (the clip on the other pull was turned around). A decent beer, and a pub, being a bit more youngish, that is a good contrast to the others nearby.
