This is a great pub, great ales, friendly barstaff, plenty of seating in a huge drinking area. An ancient penny slot weighing machine en route to the gents. A good juke box in the small lounge area volume kept well down, it's nice background music rather than having to shout above it. within walking distance to a rail station at Gifach halt, and a bus stop right outside the door. Always spotlessly clean, and a lovely show of flowers in baskets, tubs and window boxes in the summer months. If you like great ales in a friendly atmosphere, then this is a must visit hostelry.
