Having dragged a tired and grumpy Mrs Quinno up the hill to check out this lovely looking old pub (CADW GII listed) after a hard day's Wales Coast Path, I was massively let-down to find that the interior had been badly gutted, poorly ‘refurbished’ and clear plastic sheeting hanging everywhere making it look like a morgue. No ale at the bar, so decided it’d be better to get gone rather than wait for the corpses to be wheeled out. Llanfairfechan is a strange town with Royston Vasey vibes and this place summed it up. What a waste of a super little venue.
