Although this former Ansell's pub has two bars only the public side was open on my Monday evening visit. This is a wooden floored room with music blaring, an obtrusive TV and a pool table. Early breakfasts were advertised presumably for those using the morning ferry to Dublin.
There's no hand pumps so just keg options. I went for the Edinburgh Castle (£2.00) which I assumed was the Caledonian brew. It was cold but not that bad.
Given this is a keg only outlet I doubt that I would return.

freindly welcome,wonderfull breakfast nice to have a pint at 8 in the morning,handy for when we come over on the ferry,and for the train service,a pub that we go back to every time we are in holyhead
