Strongers . left this review about Boston Arms
The Laminate floored Boston has an angled U-shaped serving counter on the rear wall that faces the entrance and seating that runs under the front windows. Some locals were playing on the pool table to the left during a recent Monday lunchtime visit, but the dartboard in the right rear corner was unused. A small separate room in the front right corner was being used as a storage area, and to dry some bar mats. I didn’t note a television, but there was some background music playing off the jukebox. Available on draught from the friendly and chatty landlady were Fosters, Carling, Poretti, Tetleys Smooth, Guinness and Inch’s Cider. This pub is a stone’s throw from the ferry terminal, so rooms are available at a cheap £50 per night. I’m not sure anyone is going out of their way to visit here, but it is useful for a pre-ferry pint.
