Will Larter left this review about The Swallow Falls Inn
This iconic pub was closed for a few years before being bought and reopened by the Inn Collection Group, who have recreated the interior in their signature style. There's plenty of new wood, frilly lampshades, floral upholstery and wallpaper, plus two tones of paint on wood panelling. The bar has foot rails and hooks in reproduction medieval iron, and there are two hand pumps with just one beer on (a Monday afternoon), but this was a very good, locally brewed Conwy Rampart 4.5% (NBSS 4, £5.25/pint). Service was friendly and helpful, once the meaning of the sign saying "free parking for residents, everyone else has to pay" had been ameliorated. (Just enter your car registration number on a tablet beside the bar for two hours if free parking if you buy some food or a drink.) So, time for a pint and visit the Swallow Falls as well.
