An Irish bar festooned with Welshness. The green exterior gives way to a higgledy-piggeldy single room with a basic alehouse décor; wood, window settles etc – felt a bit like a Hop Back pub! Amusing homemade signs dotted about, the COVID one made me smile (see pic). Four pumps all on the go offering-up Pedigree, that Elderflower, Facer's Keep Your Distance and Community Brewing Thinking of a Master Plan (NBSS 3.5). The guv’nor was a little taciturn at first but warmed up a bit. Decent place for a beer, Bangor doesn’t seem to have many options on the ale front so this is worth making the schlep up the hill for.
