Old school local that looks pretty small from the exterior but is actually quite big inside, with two entrances at either end of the bar onto separate streets, presumably was split into two different bars back in the day. Cream and red tones and a sunken area at the far end. 50’s-era crooner music on the stereo, better than the usual tosh. Noted that the upper part of the bar area had a set-up for live music/gigs and according to WhatPub there is a drag night! Two pumps, just GK OSH on but in fair condition. Quiet inside but friendly locals and got chatting to one at the bar. It's decent enough for what it is but doesn’t really do anything in particular to elevate itself above the competition (drag night excluded…). 5.5
