Cask here was Doom Bar and the Rhymney Export. Keg offering of Carling, Worthington CF, Thatchers Gold, original SB, Madri, Stella and wild berries Rekorderlig cider.
Quaint traditional pub in the small Caerphilly suburb of Bedwas. Top of a steep hill climb. Car park at the front and a rear beer garden with picnic benches on either gravel on the hillside opposite the Church of St Barrwg or on paving the side by the rear exit from the venue. Bar counter faces the front entrance and has a bare board skirt, venue otherwise carpeted. Venue is sort of U shaped in terms of seating space with some tall tables to the left of the entrance in the front and then regular tables down the left-hand side with a couple of large screens, one showing golf absent commentary and the other showing 90's pop videos with sound! Right hand side similar but with just regular tables and mostly occupied by diners on my visit. Thought it was a decent venue.
