Formerly the Barley Mow, the main pub has been converted to an Indian restaurant with little trace of the original apart from the window frames and a fireplace. An extension has been added to the rear as a separate bar. A light and bright modern, rather spartan room, with a small bar counter, a couple of tables with seating along the back wall but mainly dominated by a pool table, which seems to be the entertainment of choice for a small group of locals. The bar has one out of use Kingfisher tap, with bottled beers on sale of the type commonly found in Indian restaurants: Cobra, Budweiser etc. Little reason to visit unless eating, except it is a fair way to the next pub. The food incidentally is very good.
