This is an incredibly remote pub in a dramatic location high on the moors. Open from 4pm except Sundays when the food offer starting at noon is very popular. Closed Mondays except in summer. One hand pump, which usually serves Evan Evans Cwrw, but deliveries are sporadic and so quite often - like on my visit tonight - there is no cask beer available. Bottled beers are all national brands like Abbot, Old Speckled Hen and Old Peculier. The nearby campsite is just £5 per person per night, which would be great if the pub had just one real ale on. I ended up with Neck Oil (£5.70/pint).
