GBG 2026 endorsed pub. Pretty much perfect. Outside seating, which I imagine causes a riot in the summertime. Insider, a narrow corridor leads to a restaurant on the left and a cosy bar on the right. We went to the bar - which was decorated with lots of rugby memorabilia. Decent beer - all Welsh cask with a Rev James and two from Glamorgan Brewing Co. Food was very reasonable and decent - with a £10 lunch specials menu of the usual pub staples. Haddock and chips very much enjoyed with the beer. Friendly staff.

An excellent place to have lunch, the food was top notch although a little pricey at £52.00 for 2 adults and my teenage daughter, but saying that would definately come again, the bar staff really knew how to make you feel welcome and they had an excellent array of real ales.

Small cosy public bar serving several real ales. Dogs welcome.
Did not use main food bar so cannot comment on this side.
