This is the bar of the Plas Hyfryd Hotel which sits behind two large bay windows at the front of the hotel. A small bar in the left corner supports Carling, Peroni, Coors, Worthington’s Cream Flow, Aspalls Cider and Guinness. There is also a lone hand pump that was drawing Gower Brewery’s Gower Gold during my recent Thursday afternoon visit. There are no televisions, but some inoffensive background music was playing. Non-residents are more than welcome, but this is very much a hotel bar. Maybe I would visit on a lovely summer’s day to take advantage of the lawn seating out the front, but I wouldn’t choose to sit inside and have a beer.
