Will Larter left this review about The Farmers Arms

The licensee was cleaning the lines (during opening hours?) and said that cask beer would be available again in 25 minutes. She offered me a taster of a keg IPA from Bragdy Aberteifi/Cardigan Brewery, which would have been ok except for being cold and fizzy. Maybe another time.

Strongers . left this review about The Farmers Arms

The Farmers Arms is an open plan single roomed local’s boozer that was lively with a young afterwork crowd when I visited on a recent Thursday afternoon. The bar along the rear wall is stocked with standard keg products and I counted three hand pumps. One of these was unused which left Bluestone Brewing Company’s Hammer Stone and Sharp’s Sea Fury as the cask ale options. On the rear wall to the right of the bar is a dartboard and a pool table sits in the centre of the pub. A couple of plasma screens were showing Euro Championship Diving and I noted that Sky and BT Sports are shown here. There is a jukebox which was off and I noted the presence of a gaming machine and quiz machine.
On the path out front are a couple of thick benches that face towards the bustling main high road. I found the service to be polite and locals harmless enough, so I would have no problem visiting again.
