Blue Scrumpy left this review about White Hart Inn
The White Hart is situated on the outskirts of Llandeilo, just off the A40. I was using it as a base to stay but planned to stop for a drink if worthwhile.
I arrived to find a packed car park and an equally packed pub. With just one person running (literally running) the show, it was a while before he could show me up to my room.
The front bar has a chequered tile floor with maroon and cream painted walls. Many pewter jugs hang from the beams and there are horse racing pictures on the walls. TVs were present, but were switched off.
Food seemed extremely popular here and there was a long wait for tables due to the staffing shortages. There was a specials board and a separate small dining room. In addition, the room I used for breakfast the following morning was also packed with people. It was in almost darkness and was perhaps showing a film with around 20-30 people present. Forthcoming events included a visit to the pub from Santa with his grotto!
After eventually checking in, I returned to the bar for a drink. Gower Gold & Evan Evans Sea Scape were the 2 cask ales. A third handpull was unclipped. Ciders were Thatcher's Juicy Apple, Red Hot & Sharp's Cold River.
My room was decent enough and breakfast was also good. A reasonably priced place to stay if visiting Llandeilo, as it's only a 8-10 minute walk into the town centre.

A large pub on the edge of town noted for its function suites for weddings etc. At the front is a small but good traditional public bar with a tiled floor, offering pool and darts. To the side is a larger comfortable lounge/dining room, with the suites behind. Draft ales were Ghost Ship and Old Speckled Hen, with ciders available also. Perfectly adequate.
