A small unprepossessing exterior but enter and you shall be rewarded with a compact front bar which features in the CAMRA National Inventory – the ceiling has the price of beer and spirits over many years and there's plenty of bits of breweriana (Bass heavy). To the rear via a side corridor is a more basic modern room featuring a big screen for the football and to the rear is a small outdoor drinking/smoking section. The house cask is Bass from the barrel (NBSS 3.5). Well-worth a visit for the Bass and the front bar, though be aware it’s a pretty bijou thing so go at a quieter time if you want the ambience of the front bar. 7.5
