Another lively local. Decent sized, with mature locals in the bare stone left hand area with the younger boisterous locals in the pool, darts and drop-down sports section to the right. Loud music and loud people, a highlight was the selection of Irish farming music being selected on jukebox (it’s a thing – we Googled it) with much singing-along and beam thumping from the local young farmers. One ale on from Tinworks in the shape of Old Castle, a surprisingly excellent drop, (NBSS 4). One for the locals, but the casual drinker will find it worthwhile to sample if the beer's usually this good.
