Backstreet pub to the east of the town centre that initially looked closed as we approached it, but the door was open and we soon walked into a busy pub with a mixture of all ages, including children.
I instantly spotted a cask ale from Sharp's that I'd not seen before and ordered it, only to be told that it wasn't on. The young barman failed to turn the pumpclip around. So inevitably somebody else will also be disappointed. Although, I'd suggest that few tourists find this place and the locals seemed happy drinking keg, with a choice of Madri, Worthington's, Carling, Moretti, Guinness, Thatcher's Gold, Strongbow Dark Fruits, Heineken & Dai Bach Lager.
We managed to find a quiet corner with a sofa sat in an old fireplace, whilst the locals were happily putting on tunes like Brown Girl In The Ring on the jukebox! Accommodation is offered. But I'm not sure I'd particularly want to stay here.
No longer a Brain's house. I would probably leave this one to the locals.

A very pleasant Brains house with a very good Brains IPA ON. Very friendly place and was made to feel welcome. A good place to wait for the bus as he bus station is just around the corner
