Tucked away at the junction of a few narrow side streets, this is a locals' pub that was showing the Wales rugby match on our Saturday afternoon visit. There is a dining area to one side, but the action was mostly in the main bar area to the right-hand side, where it was mostly younger locals who had gathered, the lads for the rugby and the ladies more for the social scene. A pool table can be found to the rear.

Handpulls have been removed here. The keg selection was Worthington's, Carling, Carling Black Fruits, Blue Moon, Thatcher's Haze & Gold, Staropramen, Aspalls, Madri, Guinness & Coors.
