Old Boots left this review about The Mended Drum
An open plan village pub with a thin bar to one side with benches and chairs at square wood tables, complete with flowers in empty gin bottles, a spartan central sitting area and a more dining oriented area beyond with candle powered tables. The three sided servery serves the first two areas with a bank of two and another of three pulls with Yorkshire beers, there's some interesting kegs from Atom as well as national brands. A blackboard at one end of the counter lists the beers and next to is a coming next board of pump clips. It's plain decor on a mix of exposed brick and plastered walls. There's a few old local photos of course plus a telly, machine and a piano, a laden bookshelf and the kit for dom's. There is piped music but as it was some of the better Motown hits I didn't mind. They care about their ale here too, so quality is spot on if a little cold. Didn't notice any Diskworld inspired stuff though in spite of the name.
