Bucking Fastard left this review about Rutland Hotel
The epitome of a hotel bar,the easiest access is from the Glossop Road entrance to the hotel and up a flight of steps. Both the bar and the adjoining restaurant are open to non residents. You enter the bar via a snug area with the small serving counter to one side of the main room which opens out into a conservatory with views of the small hotel garden below. There is a chalk board advertising the food availability with mains from around £7 to £13.
The decor and furniture are modern and corporate , sadly there is no real ale just standard keg offerings. It's functional if you are staying at the hotel as I was,but not worth detouring from the excellent real ale venues close by.
