Graham Coombs left this review about Sir Thomas Brown
A distinctly unimpressive-looking 1970s sort of pub in a small shopping parade serving a residential area. It is bigger inside than it looks, with a large area holding a pool table off to one side and smaller tabled areas to the other, laid up for eating. The dual entrance doors suggest these were separate bars at one time but it's all in one now. Outside is a large tabled patio area. It is actually not a bad example of its type and seemed quite well looked-after, and the food offering looked surprisingly good. There were three handpumps, with a reasonable TT Landlord on one and a couple of Lilley's fruit-based beverage clips reversed on the others.
