A gloomy day with the mood not lifted much on entering this pub, as there were not many lights on, though a couple of fan heaters were trying to lift the temperature a little. Just one hand pump on the bar but the publican said he was waiting for a delivery of Doom Bar. I went for the Stones Keg bitter, which was initially frothy but after he had poured a couple of pints for his regulars he put a reasonable half in a pint glass for me. This is not a pub to go out of your way for.
