Will Larter left this review about The Greystones
This would be quite a decent pub if Thornbridge Brewery, who own it, hadn't covered everything with their trademark grey paint. The multi-room interior has been opened out slightly, but it still retains something of the traditional layout as it must have appeared in the architect's drawings in the 1930s. From my point of view, not being what you could call a fan of Thornbridge, the other drawback is the beer. This is one of the few occasions I can recall when I've ignored the hand pump offerings and gone for a keg beer, in this case a stout. Call me old fashioned, but if I want a drink that tastes of grapefruit I'll buy a grapefruit juice: I prefer my beers to taste like beer.
