Will Larter left this review about The Chantrey Arms
Formerly a Tetleys house and now in the same ownership as the nearby Prince of Wales and the White Lion in Heeley, the internal walls have all been removed at some time, leaving pillars to support the ceiling of the single large room that remains. One of the pillars has a fireplace in it, with green tiles, and the same tiles also clad the bar, though it seems unlikely that these are original. The green theme continues in the upholstery of the chairs, stools and benches, and the overall impression is quite smart.
There are several TVs showing Sky sports or news, but these were muted and instead there was very loud radio playing. If you are lucky enough not to find the combination of pop music and adverts intensely irritating, this may be the pub for you.
On the bar were several handpumps serving Tetleys Bitter, Bombardier and Kelham Island Easy Rider. The Tetleys was only £2.50 per pint, which presumably shows the influence of the Wetherspoons just across the road, as it is reasonably priced for Sheffield.

The Chantry is on the main road through woodseats.
Once inside here there was one room that had been opened out in the past, this room was quite a nice place to have a drink in and there was only one real ale on the bar this was Tetley bitter and this was quite a nice drink.
