Will Larter left this review about The Blue Bell

This is a smart stand-alone building in fake Tudor black and white. The inside looks like it's not been subjected to a resign in 40 years or more. There's a real fireplace to the right on entering, with a fire being lit as I was drinking my two halves of beers from Bradfirld. The room on the left has a 3/4 size snooker table. Just two hand pumps, but both Belgian Blue (£4.30/pint) and Farmers Blonde (£4.10) were in more than decent condition (NBSS 4). Two locals were drinking Aspalls and Moretti, while an off-duty member of staff was enjoying the Belgian Blue. I've been swerving this beer for a number of years, because it's a go-to seasonal beer in pubs around Sheffield that don't know what they're doing with cask beers, but this one obviously does, so it's a bit of an eye-opener for me
