Old Boots left this review about The Stone Trough
Large 1930s pub, with a semi half timbered exterior, it’s currently badged as an Ember Inn. Multi spaced inside with seating / dining areas to left, right and beyond to the left in two more spaces. The counter is ahead to the right on entering, the first sight being the cheering one of eight pulls with four beers doubled up. Four T-bars of usual suspects at either end as well. The casks looked fairly regular or perhaps mundane, being Landlord, Tetleys, Wainwright and a Black Sheep beer called Twilighter, I went Tetleys and it was unexpectedly all right. Mostly furnished in tables and chairs, parquet and carpet flooring, wallpapered walls with a few pictures all with the usual un-upsetting Ember bland colour scheme. There’s a small screen and a dart board in the far right area. Child and dog friendly.
