Very much a local pub for local people, I took a few photos outside but a local saw this and got a bit arsey about it. Although in an area of light industry there are houses just across the motorway reached via a footbridge and some further along Hillidge Rd. A brick built square building possibly from the 1950s, the whole area appears to have been redeveloped. Inside it’s a two bar pub, main bar at the front with a secondary bar with pool table down a corridor at the back. A Sam Smiths pub so it’s got traditional furnishing with carpets, banquette seating, wooden furniture and a rather nice old fireplace. One of their more modern pubs it’s minimalist in décor. A more limited range of Sam’s beers than some of their pubs and even on keg the OBB was well past its best. Really a pub best left to its locals

This is a strange looking pub in an area with no houses there are industrial units nearby.
Once inside here there are two rooms i went in the lounge at the front which was smallish but comfortable enough, the bar is at the back of the pub.
This is a Samuel Smiths tied house but there are no real ales on here i had a drink of the keg stout which was a very nice drink.
