A Greene King pub on the A6110 dual carriageway not far from Leeds United's Elland Road, this is an open-plan rectangular space inside, with the bar against the rear wall, centre-right and raised areas either side of the room, the one on the left housing a pool table. Shiny laminate floor, save for some semi-carpeted areas to the right. All very bright and clean inside with varied paraphernalia including framed Rugby League shirts, photos of regulars involved in charitable events, some of sportspeople and some of Leeds Centre. Just the one ale - GK IPA - with a second stump unguarded. I went for a pint of Carling Extra Cold for £3.00 and sat at one of those 'love-to-hate' tall tables on a tall stool. A handful of other punters in situ on a Monday evening visit, with accompanying muzak ('80s stuff including, rather presciently - a couple by Tom Petty) along with three screens, two showing a football international and one on Sky Sports. There was an advert for 'DJ John Boy' outside, which is probably one to avoid.

No hand pulled ales here, just smoothflow.
Appears to be a bit of a rough pub at times with lots of loud swearing, also
noisy kids running round, the two shouldn’t go together but there you are, that’s
the sort of pub it is.
