Real Ale Ray left this review about The Bridge

Traditional local's pub which was very friendly and helpful for directions. The bar area was finished in a dark oak and took up the majority of the lounge area, with a curved section near the main entrance. Pendant lamps over the bar counter and a stone built fireplace were some other features. 8 handpumps with 6 in use, TT Landlord, Leeds Pale & Midnight Bell, Wainwright Gold, Kirkstall Three Swords and Goose Eye Chinook. There was a pool table at the far end of the pub and a good size beer garden.

Will Larter left this review about The Bridge

On my return from a brief holiday in the Lake District with a car, I had planned my journey to take me through Horsforth Woodside as I had spotted this pub and wanted to give it a try. It's right by the roundabout where Low Lane meets Butcher Hill, with Hawkesworth Road joining them in a threesome; all this makes getting a clear shot a bit tricky, so I felt I deserved a beer. What a surprise to find this is a real alehouse, or at least a real ale house. There are eight hand pumps on the bar, with seven beers on (see photos). I went for Kirkstall Three Swords and it was in very good condition (NBSS 3.5). (I had a half, which was £2.15 but the landlady told me there's £1 off pints - so the true price of a pint is £3.30.) They have a newspaper cutting proudly displayed, recording an award for the pub (I think from the newspaper itself) from about six years ago, and WhatPub records numerous awards for floral displays but none for beer quality. I think I may have to come back and try the other beers some time.
